My Policy......

 

My mission is create the most gorgeous images that my time and talent will allow. I have created a set of guidelines that helps me be the best photographer I can be and provide you with the best experience and products available. 

 

• During your session, please sit back and relax! It's often a natural instinct to want to coerce your child into smiling or to say cheese. I pride myself on interacting with your child to get their natural response. 

• I have a photography contract and model release that I use for all of my clients. This must be completed prior to your session.

• The session fee is Non-Refundable & not transferable. A session can be rescheduled with a 24 hour notice. 

• No cameras will be allowed other then mine. I do not allow family or friends to have cameras, video, or cell phone cameras over my shoulders or "behind the scenes". 

• Please be on-time. Showing up late takes away the time I have set aside to capture all the images that I want to provide for you, and I may be scrambling to catch the light. Latecomers will result in a reduced final number of images in your gallery. 

• At the time of reserving your date for the photo session, the number of people and the ages of children to be photographed MUST be divulged and agreed upon. Please do not surprise me at the time of your session with additional members. A lot of planning goes into preparing for your session; location, equipment, and time for editing. I will proceed with the scheduled session, but would be happy to schedule another date for additional members. 

• Your outdoor session will depend on the weather. My equipment is sensitive to the surroundings; rain, heavy snow, or extreme cold, and would require your session to be rescheduled. I do not reschedule for clouds, wind, humidity, or light snow.

• It is illegal to scan, copy, print, edit, reproduce, screen capture, photograph, alter or otherwise manipulate images created by Dakota Rose Portraits. Dakota Rose Portraits retains all copyrights.

• Dakota Rose Portraits reserves the right to use images for display, publication, and other promotional purposes. 

• Payment is due in full prior to session. Payment plans are available for products. No product will be delivered until payment is made in full. 

• If you or your child(ren) are sick, please contact me at least 24 hours prior to your session when possible to reschedule. If no phone call is made and you do not show, there will be a $75 fee that will be due prior to your session.  

• Due to the nature of custom made products, ALL sales are final. No returns or exchanges allowed with the exception for manufactural defects on the item. All defects must be reported within 5 days of receipt. 

• All prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Booking your session by submitting the retainer fee guarantees your rate.
